Job Description

  • Manage and maintain the investor inbox ensuring all investor inquiries are responded to quickly and accurately
  • Establish and manage the process for investor communications including managing the investor phone line, answering calls, and keeping track of investor inquiries
  • Call and build relationships with new leads daily
  • Create and update presentations for investors (current and potential)
  • Create, plan, and implement investor events
  • Responsible for drafting and sending mass communications to keep investors educated on current and future deals
  • Prepare transaction documentation and supporting files and understand the features of the investment transactions.
  • Respond and prepare deliverables for investor inquires and coordinate responses with accounting and asset management teams
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and review quarterly reporting for investors, including utilizing a T12 report to communicate revenue and expense drivers to investors effectively
  • Prepare frequent investor analysis on current holdings and return metrics on exited deals
  • Remain up to date in market trends and communicate concerns / thoughts effectively to team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience as main contact with investors, preferably at a real estate, investment management, asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, or financial services firm
  • Must have solid understanding of financials and be able to understand the lifecycle of an investment; understand and articulate IRR, equity multiple, cash on cash yield, and other financial metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and be a problem solver with all levels of management and investors
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven industry
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (vlookups, if/then, pivot tables etc)
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint Skills
  • Strong quantitative skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and respond to shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent judgment with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
