Reporting to the Senior Manager of Investor Relations (IR), the IR Coordinator is responsible for a host of wide-ranging communication and administrative duties including coordinating Enviva’s investor and analyst outreach programs and events, helping manage Enviva’s internal and external websites, and providing administrative support to the VP of IR and other members of the Communications team. The IR Coordinator’s assignments will involve teaming with various internal departments as well as spending a considerable amount of time on external-facing communications, which require professionalism, responsiveness, and discretion. This individual must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position regularly interfaces with Enviva executives, shareholders, research analysts, and internal colleagues, and likely will require occasional travel. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‐to‐day support for Investor Relations & Communications using a high degree of sensitivity and discretion in dealing with confidential and proprietary matters;
  • Coordinate the quarterly financial results disclosure process and assist in the preparation and proofreading of materials, contributing to press releases, internal communications, scripts and presentation materials;
  • Support the execution of other virtual and in-person IR and Communications events (e.g. IR conferences, investor plant/port/forest tours, meetings, road shows, and dinners). This will include coordinating meetings, handling travel arrangements, managing invite lists and invitations, registration, materials printing and shipping, and investor meeting logs, and post meeting follow-up;
  • Assist in the development and management of tools to monitor and produce regular reports regarding peer monitoring, shareholder ownership analytics, and related activity reports;
  • Support ongoing projects, including management of third-party vendor relationships (press release providers, website providers, etc); take initiative to ensure projects remain on track for timely completion;
  • Manage investor-related and communications-related conference call and webcast logistics with internal and external providers; coordinate with news wire and regulatory filing services;
  • Maintain and archive electronic and physical disclosure records;
  • Manage content updates on internal and external websites;
  • Manage the IR phone lines, general email inquiries, and certain retail investor questions;
  • Maintain the calendar of the VP of IR, and other Communications team calendars as relevant, including arranging routine meetings, conference calls, and webcasts;
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned (invoice processing, expense payments, meeting coordination, calendar management, etc.).

Qualifications 

  • A university bachelor’s degree
  • Two-to-five years of related work experience, preferably in a corporate environment and ideally with an NYSE-listed company; 
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), along with a willingness and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and a demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities with minimal supervision;
  • Professional demeanor to deal effectively with senior IR, legal, and finance team members, as well as external vendors and other stakeholders;
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet project or financial reporting demands.

  • A background in finance, accounting, or communications;
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.

Travel requirements

  • National and international travel for investor meetings and conferences may be required.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work with 3 days a week required to be in the office and 2 able to be worked remotely from home.
