We have an exciting opportunity for an Investor Relations Coordinator working in our Boston office. This person will be responsible for supporting the growing IR team in accomplishing an ambitious set of fundraising, departmental, and company goals.Ā  Ā This will include communication with a wide range of domestic and international institutional investors, involvement with all departments at the firm, and shaping critical processes as the firm grows.Ā  The Investor Relations Coordinator will be a highly resourceful team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.Ā  This individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.Ā  Ā Ā 


Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Manage Head of IR’s calendar, team meetings, and deadlines to ensure the team is functioning at its highest capacity on all levels.
  • Schedule in person and virtual meetings with a wide range of domestic and international institutional investors, including ā€˜roadshow’ trips.
  • Utilize our Sales Force-based CRM to upload meetings and manage a large contact database and support pipeline development for fundraising.
  • Organize investor annual meeting invitations and logistics as well as other investor-focused Cabot events. This includes IR focused team building events.
  • Leveraging new software, prepare expense reimbursement reports and verify payment to the members of the investor relations team.
  • Manage the IR budget and ensure invoices are being processed, service contracts are saved appropriately, and communication with vendors is accurate and efficient.
  • Participate in IR department and administrative meetings while proactively addressing issues for the team and keep the IR group on track with company happenings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of administrative or secretarial experience
  • Detail oriented and organized in all respects.
  • Sense of humor and positive attitude !
  • Language skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Access), mobile devices and (multi-line) phone systems
  • Experience managing multiple assignments/projects and conflicting priorities with the pressure of short, demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate
  • Basic accounting and business knowledge preferred

  • The job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting most of the time
  • Approximately 90% of this position’s duties require use of a computer
  • Minimal travel
