Investor Relations Manager

Job Summary:

Provides analysis and reporting of capital markets, SEC regulations and disclosure requirements, to the head of investor relations in the development, management, and execution of the company's Investor Relations (IR) program. Provides support in planning and executing investor outreach programs that effectively communicate key messages regarding financial performance and business strategies to the investment community.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Researches relevant information of capital markets, SEC regulations and disclosure requirements in support of documents for earnings conference call scripts, and other shareholder communications including press releases (earnings, financings, M&A, etc.).
• Analyzes information related to peer perception amongst the investment community, communicates changes and/or issues impacting perception/valuation to senior management and supports program/communication response strategy.
• Supports investor relations outreach programs including direct interaction with current and prospective shareholders.
• Gathers and prepares tracking progress of investor outreach program, including metrics that link outreach to investor purchase, along with the development of standard reports for executive review.
• Assists with development of presentations and arranges: quarterly conference calls, investment conferences, and road shows coordinating information needs /slides with other internal groups.
• Supports design and delivery of quarterly IR board package that communicates relevant and insightful information to company board of directors.
• Responds to buy-side and sell-side inquiries as well as supports the retail shareholder programs.
• Partners with management to support the relationship with outside vendors who coordinate shareholder recordkeeping functions and shareholder solicitation and communication.
• Provides required support for the planning and coordination of investor calls, meetings, and conferences between executive management and members of the investment community.
• Assists with maintaining the investor relations system including investor meetings, external mailing lists, and quarterly reporting.
• Works with management in relationship with the company's third party providers, measuring cost effectiveness and quality of advice and services.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Serves as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies, plans and long-range objectives.
• Actions may impact the organization and its reputation. Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting, influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources.

Work Experience:

• Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Work is subject to extreme in-depth reviews by financially driven audiences.
