Investor Relations, Manager

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Investor Relations to join our team. As a manager in Amentum's Investor Relations group, the successful candidate will be focused on enhancing shareholder value by attracting and maintaining long-term investors. This is a HYBRID role (2-3 days a week on-site at our Chantilly, Virginia office). US Citizenship is required.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Investor Relations to craft and present clear, persuasive content to both current and prospective investors, highlighting Amentum’s strategy, historical financial performance, and future financial outlook.

• Engage with company leadership to tailor internal messaging for the investment community, supporting investor targeting and responding to inquiries with detailed insights.

• Provide leadership with insights on capital markets, competitor performance, and market trends.

• Occasional travel may be required to support investor engagement activities.

• Preparation of quarterly earnings call deliverables, maintain investor website, create and update board reports, develop and maintain IR financial models.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Experience with business or financial management at the corporate, division, or business unit level, including a focus on management of key performance indicators

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and company personnel

• Ability to comprehend and navigate a wide range of functional areas, including finance, legal, and marketing

• Experience engaging with investors

• Strong understanding of capital markets

• Experience with quantitative financial analysis, financial modeling, strong understanding of GAAP accounting, and application of valuation theory

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related Field. MBA in Business, Accounting or Finance and/or CFA, CPA preferred.

• Typically, eight (8) years of experience with investor relations, equity research, financial communications, investment banking, or other related experience; six (6) years of experience with a MBA, CFA, or CPA.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Hybrid Role (onsite and remote-telework).
