  • Typical schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT.

HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Investor Services Team Lead helps lead a team committed to providing a high level of service to existing Millennium clients who are saving and investing for retirement. The incumbent will have demonstrated experience responding to and meeting client needs and knowledge about investing and asset types including traditional and alternative assets.
The role's primary responsibility is to assist in overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Engaged Individual Investor Client Service Team by working directly with Relationship Specialists to service existing non-advised clients. The incumbent will also serve as an escalation point for complex requests and will assist in promoting teamwork and a positive working environment.
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for escalated questions from team members and clients
    • Review and resolve complex client requests
  • Identify and share trends gathered from conversations from team members and clients with the Supervisor to provide insight into relationships and help in the development of team members
  • Build and develop relationships among other teams to encourage effective communication
  • Provide educated answers with regard to IRA requirements and IRS code, including prohibited transactions and complex investment scenarios
  • Articulate services offered by Millennium to Individual Investor clients
  • Provide direct feedback to team members on areas of opportunities to enhance services provided to the client
  • Utilize sound judgment to escalate issues that may require the intervention of the supervisor
  • Prepare team statistics and reports
  • Manage projects and provide team statistics
  • Work cross-functionally with various individuals at all levels of the business, both internally and externally, to maximize service
  • Suggest and implement improvements to internal processes
  • Assist the Supervisor with monitoring departmental inbox, daily workflow and assignment of cases and leads to team members
  • Monitor team to ensure follow-up is being completed on all cases, leads and opportunities
  • Provide feedback to Supervisor to aid with mid-year and end-of-year reviews
  • Ensure team meets SLA set for tasks assigned
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
  • 5 - 7 years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • CISP preferred
  • Strong relationship and communication skills
  • Possess a high level of knowledge with regard to IRAs and applicable IRS code including an understanding of prohibited transactions and complex investment scenarios
  • Action oriented - should be motivated by challenging opportunities and thrive in fast paced environments
  • High level of composure - must be cool under pressure and in challenging situations and respond in a patient and professional manner
  • Operate efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
  • Consistent, sound decision making capabilities - must make consistently good decisions using blend of knowledge, experience and analysis
  • High level of ethics and values - must act in accordance with an appropriate set of core beliefs and within MTC's personal code of conduct
  • Experience in solving complex issues, both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Experience in relationship management within the Financial Services industry preferred
