Invoicing Analyst
Job Description
- Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with customer requirements including going out to customer websites to upload documents and details as well as providing summary info when required
- Understand customer agreements/contracts to differentiate between tariffed charges and pass-through charges. Obtain any required information from customers and vendors including authorizations, backup paperwork, etc
- Review trip notes and trip paperwork to ensure all billing charges are identified, verified and invoiced accurately.
- Follow-up with operations agents regarding any questions on trip details and timing to ensure complete and accurate billing.
- Coordinate with carriers for trip invoices not received. Confirm and audit carrier charges including questioning any charges that seem excessive.
- Review carrier charges with tariffs on file to ensure compliance with agreed upon pricing. Communicate any deviations to expected pricing with Provider Development.
- Ensure the receivable and payable amounts are integrated correctly into the accounting system so all amounts and dates are correct.
- Key metrics: Days to invoice, Past Due AR, Invoicing Accuracy
- Receives guidance for overall objectives; work with operations and within company and department policies and guidelines using independent judgment to achieve assigned objectives.

What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Office Skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and ten-key skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Solve practical problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Specific Skills: Must possess a current valid driver's license. Involves a high degree of responsibility for working with, safeguarding and controlling highly restricted information, enhanced telephone communication skills, diplomatically deal with other people. Must be self-motivated, able to maintain confidentiality, honest, friendly, punctual, and organized, have a positive attitude and be able to work unsupervised.

Additional Considerations
- Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and talk and hear others in conversations via the phone or in person. Occasionally required to stoop kneel, crouch or crawl, climb or balance and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
- The noise level is moderate based on general conversation tones, ringing phones and laser printer operation.
- Work in well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
