Invoicing Specialist

The invoicing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring hours worked by travel nurses and other clinicians are appropriately recorded, pay rates are verified, discrepancies are fixed, and the invoice is correctly sent to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the invoicing liaison between our clients and our partner staffing agencies;
• Manage all client billing, including the ensuring nurse time has been accurately captured, classified, and costs (appropriate rate used);
• Manage the approval and confirmation process with our partner staffing agencies to ensure they are in agreement with amounts (time/rate) and send reverse invoices / remittance advice information;
• Generate and distribute approved invoices for payment and monitor for collections; 
• Distribute received invoice payments to our partner staffing agencies on a timely basis;
• Work with client and staffing agencies to promptly identify, document and resolve any exceptions or discrepancies in the invoicing process; and
• Assist in other Prolucent finance tasks as needed. 

Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience in staffing (ideally healthcare, but any industry is OK);
• 4+ years overall experience in invoicing / accounting;
• Very strong Excel skills (ability to manipulate large data sets);
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Microsoft Office and other software tool skills;
• Comfortable creating reports, analyzing data and making recommendations;
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills; and
• Client focused, and strong ability to multi-task and work independently.

Division: Finance/Admin Support

Primary Location: Remote or Local to the DFW area

Preferred Experience: Invoicing position in healthcare staffing industry or clinical environment is preferred

Compensation:

• $20.00 - $26.00
