As a member of the Global Research Development Team, you will be working on driving sustainable improvements to our mobile development.

We are hiring an experience iOS Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA. This position has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to two days remote per week. Four-day work weeks are also an option for those applicants that are interested.

Responsibilities

• You will develop applications that scale and reach 30,000+ users per day
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices
• Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services
• Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable
• Understand CoStar's product architecture and frameworks and come to the table with your ideas
• Collaborate with different teams along with other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
• 4+ years' experience in developing iOS applications
• You are an expert in everything iOS - Objective C, Swift, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, Interface Builder and are always interested in learning more and sharing your skills
• You know all the common Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection and more.

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS (Nice To Haves)

• Experience with SQL databases and full stack development
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking.
• You love mobile applications and know how to make them engaging
• You understand how to turn ideas and code into the perfect customer experience
• You have knowledge/experience with iOS, Unit Tests and Test-Driven Development
