IOS Engineer

Overview:

We are hiring an iOS Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. Our ideal iOS Engineer has experience working with native Swift iOS applications that communicate via REST APIs. As our team grows, we aim to hire passionate, dedicated people who believe in our mission and want to be part of a collaborative and supporting team. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of features for the Patient and Provider iOS applications

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Work with product management to refine concepts and convey mobile design patterns

• Continually introduce architectural improvements and refactoring to the codebase

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience developing, shipping and maintaining native iOS apps

• Advanced knowledge of Swift and Xcode

• Deep understanding of UIKit and Storyboard UI design

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

• Experience with iOS build, testing and debugging tools

• Experience with Apple Health Kit

• Experience with Apple Push Notification service

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and app releases process

• Substantial exposure to large and complex code bases, object-oriented development and API design

• Understanding of best practices with integrating RESTful APIs in iOS

• Knowing the hows and whys of Git

• Solid communication and time management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with others to build something great
