iOS Engineer Intern

About the team:

We are looking for an iOS Engineering Intern to join the MyFitnessPal engineering team. Our users rely on the MyFitnessPal iOS app to power their health and fitness journeys every day. As a member of our MyFitnessPal Engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to spend 12 weeks on a project that directly impacts our product and users.

What you’ll be doing:

• Shipping production changes to the MyFitnessPal iOS application
• Working collaboratively with professional software engineers
• Participate with cross functional Project Teams during the Software Development Lifecycle
• Be mentored by an experienced teammate through the internship and advance in your career goals
• Show off your work and impact to the entire company at the end of your internship

Qualifications to be successful in this role: 

• Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible:
• Undergraduate students graduating between December 2023 and May 2024 (rising Juniors or Seniors)
• Students completing their master’s degree between December 2023 and May 2024
• Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program
• Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment
• Passion for software development
• Eager to learn through collaboration
• Basic software development experience: ideally in Swift
• Good communication skills
• Prior iOS Development experience (nice to have)

• Paid internship with potential conversion to full time upon graduation
