We are a small fast-moving team based in NYC passionate about building beautiful and functional products. We are constantly looking for creative ways to push the capabilities of iOS/watchOS to create an app that is more intelligent fun and integrated into our users’ lives. 

Bevel launched in early 2024 and we’ve been lucky to see incredible growth and support from our users. We’re looking to bring on additional iOS engineers to help us build an ambitious roadmap. You’ll get an opportunity to shape the future of Bevel and have full ownership and creative freedom to create your life’s work.

Responsibilities 

• Build new features and improvements across the Bevel iOS and watchOS apps
• Implement clean efficient and well-tested Swift code
• Collaborate with design and product to bring delightful user experiences to life
• Work with HealthKit WatchKit and SwiftUI to integrate health and activity data
• Debug performance issues and optimize for speed reliability and battery efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Help improve our app architecture tooling and development processes as we scale

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience building native iOS apps
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
• Familiarity with Apple frameworks like HealthKit WatchKit Combine and Core Data
• Understanding of app architecture patterns (MVC MVVM etc.)
• A good sense of design and appreciation for detail
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
