IoT Software Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IoT Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software for our IoT gateway product line, tailored to the C&I solar and storage market. This is a hands-on position involving the design, implementation, testing, and support of embedded software for distributed systems, leveraging embedded Linux and Raspberry Pi as our gateway platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded IoT software for Yotta Energy products.

• Integrate IoT gateway devices with Yotta’s cloud monitoring platform, Yotta Vision.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software components for our IoT systems.

• Support and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring robust and reliable performance in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.

• Experience with embedded Linux, especially on Raspberry Pi platforms.

• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus, CAN) and distributed systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS services or the Open Embedded framework.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and IoT security best practices.

• Experience in the solar or energy storage industry.
