The team you'll be part of

The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

The Global Webscale IP Architect Team is seeking an IP Architect to drive technical engagements with Webscale Customers. You will have the opportunity to own all technical aspects of an account as well as serve in cross-functional roles including strategy, business and product roadmap development, technical solution design and delivery. You will work with industry leading Global Tier 1 Webscale Customers, contribute to industry changing technologies and projects. Coupled with direct touch to Nokia product development organizations, you will be joining a highly-talented and supportive team.

What you will learn and contribute to

• Work closely with Account teams and BU to develop and execute technical account strategies
• Develop close technical working relationships with Customers and effectively promote solutions offered by Nokia
• Provide BU feedback on Customer requirements to guide product direction and solutions alignment with customer business/network priorities
• Develop deep understanding of Customer's business and application
• Provide technical guidance and direction to Sales teams
• Drive and manage RFI, RFP, Demos, POC, NPI, test plan creation, and network design

Your Skills and Experience

You must have:

• B.S. Degree in Computer Networking or equivalent experience required
• 8+ years in various technical engineering roles and 4+ years in customer facing roles
• Experience with Vendor Network Operating System and Open Source Network Operating Systems (SONiC)
• Experience with Linux Operating System, Scripting, Kubernetes, and DevOps Development
• Experience with SP IP network design
• Experience with IP products and related SW and HW architectures
• Experience with TCP/IP, IP/MPLS, RSVP-TE, LDP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, Segment Routing, QoS, Routing Policy, MPLS Services (VPLS, VPWS, VRF, EVPN)
• Direct work experience with product BU and Account teams to deliver and execute account strategies and technical solutions

It would be nice if you also had:

• Exceptional customer facing skills and ability to have a knowledgeable conversation with Webscale Network Architects about technology
• Multifaceted and the ability to learn, adapt, and deliver quickly under pressure from many constituents
• Good listening, verbal, written, presentation and project management skills
• Driven, self-motivated, and a "take-ownership" attitude
• Optical, DC Networking, SDN knowledge a plus
