IS Tester

We currently have a vacancy for an IS Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Definition of test plans and test cases;
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
• Create reports / documentation of test results, errors, and issues to be fixed;
• Ensure the information systems meet the business requirements, standards and specifications;
• Collaborate with the business analysts, users, project managers and the developers.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
• At least 2 years of specific expertise in defining test plans and test cases;
• At least 2 years of specific expertise in writing test scenarios and scripts;
• At least 2 years of specific expertise in a Test Management and Defect Tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Katalon);
• At least 2 years of specific expertise in relational databases and SQL;
• Hands-on experience in manual testing;
• Experience in web-based technologies and Microsoft Dynamics 365;
• Awareness of software development and service methodologies (Agile);
• Understanding of API testing tools, such as Postman, SoapUI, or Azure API Management, to test Microsoft 365 APIs;
• Very good experience in Testing methodologies;
• ISTQB certification will be considered an advantage;
• Excellent command of the English language.
