We're currently looking for a IS VMO Financial Analyst to join our team in Franklin, TN.

The IS VMO Financial Analyst assists the VMO team in establishing appropriate financial reporting and monitoring of IS VMO managed partners.

Job Description

  • The IS VMO Financial Analyst assists in managing the day-to-day financial oversight and performance management of VMO Managed service providers, including escalation of issues to Nissan and Vendor executives when needed.
  • The IS VMO Financial Analyst will communicate with various roles and levels within the organization up to and including Nissan IS executives.
  • The IS VMO Financial Analyst will assist in leading the team's efforts in the management of third party contracts involving the delivery of IS products and services in conjunction with other Nissan departments such as Finance, Purchasing, and Legal.
  • The IS VMO Financial Analyst assists in the facilitation of the resolution of all engagement-level issues that may arise in the course of the relationship.
  • The IS VMO Financial Analyst assists the Vendor Manager in setting guidelines, processes, and policies for establishing productive relationships between vendor staff and internal staff ensuring that project performance meets expected levels of service and professionalism.
  • As necessary, performs any other relevant duties to aid in the success of the organization.

Job Knowledge and Skill

  • Excellent communication skills enabling the IS VMO Financial Analyst to effectively establish partnerships with service providers.
  • Excellent problem solving skills. The IS VMO Financial Analyst must have technical skills and the ability to understand technical systematic issues and communicate issues effectively to vendors, management and peers.
  • Excellent writing capabilities enabling the IS VMO Financial Analyst to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to write clearly and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Possesses listening skills enabling the VMO Financial Analyst to listen, interpret and understand what other people are saying, asking questions when appropriate.
  • Supports team building by building mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Ability to monitor invoice payments for multiple vendors

  • Ability to resolve performance issues and manage conflict while preserving the integrity of the vendor/ client relationship.

Experience:

10 years overall finance experience with at least some time working with third party vendors.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with contract oversight.

Education: Bachelors or equivalent work experience

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Clarity/Jira
