［ISE］Infrastructure Engineer

Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities
*This is an IBM Japan Systems Engineering (ISE) position.

In ISE you will lead the implementation of IT infrastructure that enables our customers to drive digital transformation and launch new services quickly while working with IBM Sales and Services departments as a technical expert to provide technical support on IBM infrastructure products. The position will provide technical support on IBM Infrastructure products in collaboration with IBM Sales and Services.

Job Description.
Develop solutions and training using IBM Infrastructure products.
Provide technical Q&A support and disseminate technical product information related to IBM Infrastructure products.
Develop solutions that combine IBM Infrastructure products with other companies’ products.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure
Experience in IT infrastructure design and construction (any product)
Communication skills to facilitate smooth work progress with related parties.
English proficiency to read and understand manuals and other documents

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in any of the following is a plus
Proposal support/conceptualization/design/delivery of data utilization infrastructure
Design and construction of digital workflow solution infrastructure
Proposal support/conceptualization/design/delivery of mainframe infrastructure
Proposal support/conceptualization/design/delivery of Cognos Analytics/IBM Planning Analytics
Proposal support/conceptualization/design/delivery of API management products
