IT Account Manager

The Corporate & Business Travel IT Account management team provides a proactive and consultative service to Amadeus Hospitality Distribution partners.

Through identifying opportunities for account growth, the team seeks to increase overall customer satisfaction and in turn generate more revenues for Amadeus and increase customer retention

The team's focus is to maintain, protect & drive more bookings for all customers, through dedicated sales initiatives that demonstrate the breadth and depth of content (GDS, SBTs) available in Amadeus's various points of sale.

The IT Account Management team establishes and maintains hotel IT relationships with Amadeus Hospitality Distribution partners (Hotel Providers, TMCs & Travel API clients). The team also provides expertise & consulting for technical initiatives, functional enhancements & Special Projects.

In this role you'll:

  • Daily :
  • Manage autonomously assigned accounts including all day to day IT Account Management tasks.
  • Successfully drive day to day technical projects
  • Analyze issues and work with other teams to resolve and propose solutions
  • Prime escalation contact & coordination of issue resolution
  • Contribute to overall key issue prioritization and ensure appropriate follow-up by Amadeus Support teams and other relevant teams, like provider account management.
  • Collaborate with Hotel Providers team during testing of new content.
  • Internal support and collaboration with other Amadeus teams
  • Weekly:
  • Manage the ongoing pipeline and status of all deliverables (functional and operational requirements) according to customer commitments.
  • Interface with customers throughout product cycle: Help customer clarify business needs, ensure that these requirements are understood by Amadeus, and confirm how Amadeus can fulfill these needs.
  • Process improvement: Improve customer service quality and resolution timelines.
  • Drive support process improvements.
  • Contribute to the identification of KPIs and ensure tracking and reporting for assigned customers.
  • Customer facing:
  • Pre-Sales & Business Development for existing Amadeus Hospitality Distribution Chains Providers & Aggregators for functional & technical initiative projects: Direct Connect, Functional product enhancements.
  • Collect and prioritize customer functional requirements
  • Collect requirements to leverage product enhancements and work with Product Management to document/formalize these requirements.
  • Following the new Product Life Cycle processes prioritize and validate those requirements in the product backlog.
  • Customer satisfaction improvement.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Education requirement: Degree in Hospitality Management subjects, Technology or Engineering
  • Hospitality Industry knowledge & experience (3-5 years min.)
  • IT literate, skilled at understanding interfaces and Amadeus product solutions to accommodate customer needs.
