The IT Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing inventory of IT assets (software and technology-related hardware), as well as providing financial analysis to support the IT organization. This individual will be responsible for forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the IT organization. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line's core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties:
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or other related major and 2 - 4 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: asset management, finance/budgeting, IT, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have strong knowledge and abilities with end user computing platforms including Windows, Mac and mobile devices. Software solutions experience should include intermediate to advanced knowledge and abilities with Google G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, and Docs), POS environments, Windows 7, Command Prompt/Powershell, MacOSX. A+ certification is preferred.

Must be an effective communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels. This includes spoken, written, electronic, and presentation skills. Communication should be consistently constructive and professional.
Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to analyze results at a micro and macro level and present findings. Makes routine decisions following established policies and procedures; collaborates with manager to gain assistance when complex issues arise.

The IT Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing inventory of IT assets (software and technology-related hardware), as well as providing financial analysis to support the IT organization. This individual will be responsible for forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the IT organization. - Maintains complete and accurate physical inventory of all IT hardware equipment, maintenance service agreements, software licensing, certificate management, and warranties.
- Creates and executes all billing and purchasing hardware/software processes and asset lifecycle strategies from procurement through disposal.
- Serves as the IT asset management / procurement specialist for store and corporate technology.
- Works with the IT Leadership team to develop and review departmental finances and yearly budget plan.
- Provide IT financial reporting.
- Perform complex spend analysis based on all available IT purchase behavior
- Analyzes and manages creative methods to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Works with the Manager of Client and Collaboration to develop and review departmental financial needs for the yearly budget.
- Reviews and Approves all third party vendor invoices requested by IT team.
- Works cross-functionally with finance and procurement, to maintain accurate data and efficient strategies in accordance with business requirements.
- Performs inventory and usage monitoring of all IT assets and records all findings, changes, and incidents to assess trends in performance issues.
- Provide disposal strategies to maximize unused or partially used IT assets to achieve full efficiency, ROI, and security requirements.
- Leads internal and external audits related to IT Assets.
- Collaborates with Project managers for asset deployment and procurement strategies across all business disciplines.
- Ensures that customer expectations are met or exceeded.

- Prior experience in Project Management and IT Procurement experience
- Experience including use of Asset Management Repository Tool(s)
- Certifications like CHAMP, CSAM, ITIL, or CITAM are a plus
- Proven success rate meeting company, department and personal goals.
- Comfortable in a fast dynamic environment with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong computer skills - must be an expert in excel/Sheets or to analyze large volumes of data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle pressure
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and presenting data to management
- Ability to work independently and very self-motivated. Strong personal initiative and project management skills
