The Opportunity

Ortho is committed to maintaining and protecting against potential vulnerabilities that could affect the integrity and security of our products and systems or the privacy of our customers and their patients. As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a IT Forms Analyst with medical product experience preferred to support requests for proposals/information (RFPs/RFIs) and security assessments of our products. This position reports to the Manager, Government Contracting and will be based at our Raritan, NJ or Rochester, NY location.

The Responsibilities

The Security Assessment Specialist will coordinate the company's efforts in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires and will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Understand the customers' requested solution and how to position Ortho products, messaging and services.
• Draft, review and execute responses submitted by current and prospective customers.
• Work cross functionally ensuring tight alignment between sales and other organizations, interacting with individuals throughout the organization to ensure responses are delivered on a timely basis, clearly articulate, and demonstrate Ortho's product and service differentiators to attract and retain customers.
• Task and assign proposal content as needed for subject matter experts' sections, following up with section owners to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
• Meet deadlines by developing, managing, and owning a project timeline establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing status information; transmitting responses.
• Manage multiple questionnaires simultaneously to ensure responses are accurate, professional and are submitted by the required deadlines.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the customer security assessment process.
• Manage database of FAQ/Responses by line of business and instrument.
• Maintain and enhance business skills, including understanding health care industry and participate in all relevant training opportunities to enhance and improve current skill set.

The Individual

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Business, or other related area, and a minimum of 2-years' experience working in an IT/information security role.
• Self-Starter
• Ability to multi-task between multiple requests and team members in the support of different sales opportunities, compliance requirements, and other initiatives.
• Knowledge of information technology, information security controls
• Highest ethical standards when handling private and confidential data
• Strong work ethic and able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines, self-manage tasks, workloads, priorities and deliver outcomes, request support or direction when needed and provide suggestions and improvements.
• Detail-oriented, and able to multi-task, prioritize, and resolve multiple inquiries simultaneously
• Excellent communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
