This job role will be responsible for ensuring service and platform stability and availability for the NCR Payments Processing platforms. Will be a key player in OS configuration and software deployment methods. Support Linux and Windows based environments, database technologies and monitoring tools for public facing web applications and related platforms.
Location: Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Work with software engineering teams to prepare, manage, and monitor Windows and Linux systems in both on premise and cloud environments. Implement industry best practices and technologies and Devops principal to ensure platform and software pipeline viability to support 24/7 client operations. Work with internal customers to successfully achieve implementation goals. These duties include:
- Analyze architecture installation requests as well as the installation of operating systems and supporting equipment ensuring all infrastructure requirements are met and maintaining quality that will achieve the maximum performance, redundancy, and uptime during its lifecycle.
- Work with internal customers, architecture teams, and data center teams assuring that all requirements and expectations are met.
- Coordination of processes for complicated initiatives.
- Assist with managing workflow of requests that are submitted into the team including managing priority, documentation, and follow-up with other associated teams to assure staging deadlines are met.
Job Requirements:
- Strong technical aptitude
- Ability to review technical drawings and create strong documentation
- Network connectivity hardware and processes
- Familiarity/Experience with database technologies.
- Experience with SSH, RDP, SFTP, job scheduling
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, SSAE, SOC, SOX.
- Windows, Linux and common cloud hosting environments and platforms.
- Understanding of SSL/TLS certificate management.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience
