Extend is modernizing the $100 billion-per-year protection plan industry using cutting-edge technology and top-notch customer service.
Our technology-forward omnichannel and API-first solution allows any merchant to offer protection plans, both online and in store, while also providing a merchant's end customers with a vastly improved and modern support experience that eliminates many of the issues customers face today with legacy underwriters. More recently, Extend also launched a shipping protection solution, covering consumers in the case of lost, damaged or stolen packages. This is further expanding the company’s addressable market and value creation for merchants.

About the Role:
The IT Analyst is responsible for leading various components of software vendor, access, and data management efforts, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as experience with implementations, reporting, and process efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for data and user migration to new systems and mitigate any migration issues
- Manage user permissions, roles, and interface layouts for supported systems
- Provide technical support to employees
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer problems in a Mac and Windows environment
- Install and maintain software
- Conduct security audits
- Generate reporting and documentation on systems, users, and defined metrics
- Ramp up quickly on the setup, administration, and deployment of new and existing systems
- Educate and assist employees on IT policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of overall technical experience in IT-related disciplines
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, including Mac and Windows
- 4+ years of experience with software implementation, administration, and reporting
- Experience evaluating and implementing cloud services, integrations, and changes
- Proven administration skills across multiple corporate disciplines
- Experience building efficient, user-friendly workflows and automation
- Experience managing Okta, Google Suite, and related technologies a plus
- Good understanding of data relationships for reporting, data management, and integrations
- Some experience with networking and security
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Expected Pay Range: $120,000 per year*
*The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location and job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Incentive compensation will be provided as part of a total compensation package.
