Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a IT Analyst to work with our existing team and end users. You should be proficient with client technologies such as desktop and laptop hardware, Microsoft Windows and Office, and other commercial off-the-shelf software products. We are looking for a quick learner who is eager to give great customer service to our employees and have an opportunity to advance their career in a fast growing company.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support and maintain equipment related to alarm signaling
  • Works with minimal supervision and may provide training and assistance to less senior technicians or trainees
  • Must have an ability to proctor, coach, and teach others
  • Provides reliable, high quality customer support
  • Provide instruction and guidance on system operation and functionality
  • Performs system testing and signal verification
  • Maintains the necessary stock/inventory (equipment and tools)
  • Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks
  • Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule with "on call availability"
  • Must complete other projects, as assigned

Requirements

What You Need For This Role:

  • 2 years or more experience in an IT position
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Familiarity with Windows client (Windows 7/8/10)
  • Familiarity with PC hardware and peripherals
  • Basic networking knowledge including an understanding of TCP/IP
  • Excellent problem solving skills as well as good communication are required.
  • Experience in an office environment
