Trust & Safety at Valon

We are building a world-class platform to champion homeowners, and the Trust & Safety Department is vital to maintaining our teams’ technologies. The Trust & Safety Department is responsible for the architecture, hardware, software, and networking of all internal computers at Valon. You’ll join a small, tight-knit group of IT professionals and work cross-functionally with different departments to empower all employees—across two offices and multiple remote workspaces—as we work to improve the process of homeownership.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the continued success of our servicing operations team. You’ll partner with a variety of high-level stakeholders to maintain our fast-paced daily office operations. You will be responsible for responding to technical support queries in a prompt and accurate manner, including requests for hardware repair, equipment relocation, and system access. 

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Mac laptops, software, cloud services, systems, networks, MFA devices, printers, and scanners.
• Manage the on- and off-boarding of users and the provisioning and de-provisioning of devices.
• Manage and restock inventory as needed.
• Set up and roll out software updates and other laptop security services and policies.
• Set up SSO (Single Sign On) with third-party software for increased security and convenience.
• Create effective user-facing communications and guidance.
• Operate independently with a high degree of professionalism while also being a member of a close-knit team.

Ideal Background

• 2+ years of experience in desktop and mobile administration, Google Workplace administration, service management, identity and access management, network administration, and business system administration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Refined attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to navigate ambiguity
