What You Will Do and Learn
As an Analyst on the Technology and Security team, this person will be responsible for supporting end users onsite and remotely, troubleshooting problems as they arise, helping implement hardware configurations, installing software, maintaining assets and inventory, assisting with the management of network systems, training and supporting staff on appropriate operating procedures:
Ideal candidates will be able to:
- Capable of diagnosing, researching, and testing new or unusual technical issues.
- Ability to clearly document new troubleshooting resolutions.
- Collaborate with IT team to implement and maintain security controls and technologies to protect against cyber threats.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a sense of urgency to troubleshoot and resolve end user requests with empathy, patience, and confidence
- Ability to clearly communicate questions and solutions verbally, in person and over chat and email.
- Ability to collaborate with Technology and Security team members to address troubleshooting requests, project rollouts, and policy applications.
- Actively listen and demonstrate clear understanding of end users' technical needs as they pertain to serving and supporting their clients.
- Ability to give clear and concise IT Trainings on new and existing hardware and software systems.
- Manage IT asset inventory including laptops and peripheral devices for full asset lifecycle.
- Ability to understand TCP/IP Networking, hubs and switches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience with level 1 support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and TEAMS.
- Experience supporting both Windows 11 and MacOS operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite of apps.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory administration.
- Experience with Meraki, PowerShell, Python and HTML is a plus.
- Experience supporting Office 365 environment.
