Responsibilities:

Lilly USA IDS team is responsible for driving technology innovation for the US Affiliate. You will primarily focus on data integration and analytic solution delivery. This position will report to the IT manager primarily responsible for solution delivery and innovation. In this role, you will:

• Lead development of data-centric solutions to be used by business teams within the US Sales and Marketing Affiliate
• Ensure the availability and quality of data needed for analysis and business transactions. This includes data integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization and transforming raw data into curated datasets for data science, data discovery, and BI/analytics
• Consult with internal customers to develop data products & analyses that lead to actionable insights
• Work with data from multiple internal and external data sources to create integrated views to be used in driving decisions
• Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate
• Own data assets from development through support life cycle
• Understand business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical requirements, and vice versa
• Seek opportunities to reuse existing processes and services to streamline support and implementation of key systems.
• Understand the key elements of the project related data and business usage
• Ensure solutions adhere to quality, compliance, Protect Lilly, and Data Usage requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with analytics and business intelligence solutions such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Familiar with the technical architecture associated with databases and analytics environments and experience working in SQL and/or Python
• Experience in applying quality and compliance requirements

• Solid background in Information Technology with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology and business process
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders
• Positive, customer-focused, energetic attitude, and strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology areas (Strong learning agility)
• Agile development experience (product owner, scrum master)
• SAFe and ITIL certifications
• Data Modeler/Data Engineering experience
