This position is part of the Information Technology SAP Applications department located in Coralville, Iowa and will be a Hybrid position. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with other SAP work streams, ABAP development teams, various IT cross-functional teams and Global Business Solution partners to design and deliver complete end to end solutions that optimize operational performance of our systems.
- Interpret internal and external business incidents and requests and recommend best practices to accommodate needs and improve process.
- Lead small functional teams or projects with manageable risk and/or complexity, complying with external audit regulations and internal processes and policies.
- Identify and solve issues through root cause analysis to ensure permanent corrective action as well as provide on-call support during critical events and milestones.
- Communicate effectively by translating complex technical information to non-technical personnel to ensure the successful identification of the ask and/or an issue.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a Finance or IT related field, or equivalent level of experience required.
- 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience in SAP Finance modules, as well as support of new enhancements, break/fix, production support required.
- 5+ years of experience working within the various tcodes and programs which make up the Financial Accounting and Controlling modules and sub-modules, as well as in conjunction with MM, SD, and PP modules.
- 3+ years of work experience related to product costing and forecasting methodologies, internal reporting, cost center and profit center accounting and profitability analysis.
- 5+ years of work experience supporting AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Tax Mgmt, Credit Memo/Debit Memo, Cost Accounting, Reporting, Substitution Rules, Profitability, etc
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- 3+ years of work experience working within a SOX compliant environment, supporting business processes, and creating documentation that follow strict guidelines.
- Working knowledge with BADI's, BAPI's, Routines, and other enhancement objects. Ability to interpret ABAP language, identify optimization opportunities, and debug incidents.
- Knowledge in Sales and Distribution module where it relates to financial processing, invoicing, billing blocks, etc.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
