Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Java/ Big Data Developer.

Position type: Contract to perm

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)

As a Java/ Big Data Developer you will: Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.

Key Qualifications: • Need good design and architecture experience • 90% hands on coding 10% design - Need to be confident coding on a daily basis and in interviews

• This is within the big data space but is a java shop with some python • Java is main tech - REST API, Microservices, Apache Storm (migrating from Apache Storm to Apache Spark), using Apache Iceberg, Snowflake, S3, Docker containers, Kafka/MQ/JMS for messaging, Elasticsearch • Using Spark with Kubernetes is a big plus

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $90 - $100 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
