IT Auditor

The Risk and Control Department is seeking a driven technology or security professional to perform assessments of PlayStation’s IT landscape. The ideal candidate can complete in-depth analyses of a variety of complex architectures, identify risks and ensure PlayStation services are designed and operating effectively and securely. We need a critical thinker who can work collaboratively, take initiative to develop solutions and communicate results, both verbally and written, across key audit stakeholders in the organization.
This role will include a variety of responsibilities and, at times, have simultaneous projects that require strong multi-tasking skills to drive parallel progress. You will also work with teams, both internal and external, throughout the globe. We are seeking a teammate who is positive, flexible, maintains an open mind and is committed to achieving goals as part of a diverse and engaged team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform IT, security and integrated audits across all of PlayStation’s global operations.
- Perform risk assessments, review architectures and systems, and identify/evaluate/validate relevant controls and compliance with internal policies.
- Draft audit reports to visualize and present audit findings and recommendations to management.
- Participate in the planning, execution and reporting of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing.
- Understand the Sony organization and develop relationships to recommend solutions and best-practices.
- Represent the Risk and Control Department on company initiatives and special projects.
- Assist management with enterprise risk assessment and annual audit plan development.
- Contribute to internal department initiatives, such as wellness initiatives, training and development activities, updates to internal audit policies and procedures and other internal projects, as requested.
- The position will require occasional domestic and international travel.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years IT audit experience, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field. Â
- Prior experience in a public accounting firm or a private industry internal audit department, including the assessment of IT processes, systems, and IT general controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Prior experience designing appropriate audit test plans and performing audits independently.
- Basic understanding of virtual systems and AWS cloud services and environments, along with familiarity of microservices architecture and agile/scrum development techniques is preferred.
- Prior experience auditing SAP ERP systems is preferred. Experience with S/4, GRC, BW and HANA databases in cloud deployments is a plus.
- Prior experience in IT security and general controls reviews of complex architectures, across the many IT layers (Networking/OS/DB/App), and with broad practice in various technologies.
- A strong interest in project management; known as someone who takes ownership of assignments or tasks and often succeeds in a constantly evolving environment with an ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to reprioritization of tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management from the organization, external auditors and partners.
- Highly motivated (seeks out opportunities), detail-oriented (represented in quality of work) and analytical (focuses on the data).
- Must be team-oriented with a focus in providing an inclusive and engaged work environment.
- Experience with data analytics development and visualization software, such as QlikSense, Tableau or Alteryx, is a plus.
- Knowledge of standard business processes and associated controls is a plus.
- CISA, CISSP or other related certification strongly preferred.
