Company Overview:
Red Cup IT is a forward-thinking IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) seeking an innovative IT Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you will design and implement automation workflows to streamline our operations and enhance our service delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. **Develop Automation Workflows**:
- Create, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using tools like Rewst, Zapier, Make.com, Postman, and custom scripts written in Python.
- Utilize templating with Jinja to dynamically generate configuration files and scripts.
2. **API Integration and Webhooks**:
- Seamlessly integrate our core systems and platforms such as HaloPSA, Jira, NinjaRMM, IT Glue, Pax8, OpenAI, Azure AD, Okta, and more, leveraging REST APIs and webhooks.
3. **Tools and Platform Management**:
- Maintain and extend integrations with collaboration and communication platforms like Slack, Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace, and Apple MDM.
4. **Endpoint and Identity Management**:
- Work closely with the operations team to automate processes in Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, SentinelOne, Threatlocker, Beyond Identity.
5. **Security and Compliance Automation**:
- Develop automated solutions for real-time monitoring and compliance verification with tools like AWS and Drata.
6. **Documentation and Training**:
- Create comprehensive documentation for automation workflows and provide training to staff to ensure smooth adoption and troubleshooting.
7. **Continuous Improvement**:
- Continuously analyze the effectiveness of automation workflows, seeking ways to improve, streamline, and automate processes further.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with automation tools and scripting languages, particularly Python and Jinja.
- Proficient in working with REST APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms like Zapier.
- Familiarity with the operational aspects and security protocols of cloud platforms like Azure AD, AWS.
- Experience with MSP/MSSP operational platforms like HaloPSA, Jira, NinjaRMM is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
