IT Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)

Visa: USC (GC and H1B when local to Tallahassee, FL)

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in one (1) of the computer sciences fields or in management information systems; or Five (5) years of work experience in IT, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.
2. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff.
3. Experience working with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies.
4. Ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications.
5. Ability to document business and technical requirements.
6. Experience coordinating testing activities and developing software testing documentation.
7. Ability to perform research and troubleshoot system issues.
8. Experience serving as a subject matter expert and liaison between business users and the IT organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with the FLAIR system and its subsystems.
2. Experience working with a legacy mainframe application.
3. Experience working with Adabas and DB2.
