IT Business Analyst

The IT Business Analyst at AMIRI will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business needs, elicit and document requirements, and facilitate the development of effective IT solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning IT solutions with business objectives, driving process improvements, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes, goals, and requirements. 
• Conduct analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and IT solutions that align with business objectives. 
• Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, and system specifications. 
• Work closely with IT development teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions meet business needs. 
• Oversee the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization. 
• Conduct impact analysis and assess the feasibility of proposed solutions. 
• Facilitate communication between business and IT stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements. 
• Assist in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during implementation. 
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the luxury fashion sector. 
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to deliver projects on time and within scope. 
• Provide ongoing support and analysis to optimize existing IT systems. 
• Prepare and present status updates and briefings to stakeholders, highlighting findings and recommendations. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in IT business analysis. 
• Proficiency in project management software and techniques. 
• Experience with NetSuite or ERP a plus. 
• Experience with platform lifecycle management (PLM) a plus. 
• Proven experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively across diverse teams.. 
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. 
• Experience in the fashion or retail industry is a plus. 
• Knowledge / experience of working in product development, operations, supply chain, ERP, Retail, eCommerce, Wholesale, Merchandising. 
• Passion for fashion and the luxury market. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are desirable.
