About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to collaborate with lines of business to analyze complex business problems to determine an IT solution and to help test changes to ensure quality.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with line of business to analyze complex business problems to determine an IT solution
• Write test scripts and help perform end-to-end and regression testing
• Assist with gathering data, analyzing business and user needs, scheduling and facilitating meetings to establish quality project requirements
• Document and diagram basic project requirements which support development efforts
• Provide second level system support for branch users via the internal application team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Basic understanding of how to write business requirements
• Ability to understand the flow of work which includes release planning and process improvement efforts preferred
• Inquisitive, agile and a strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Motivated and organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft suite of technologies such as Azure DevOps/TFS, Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 1+ year experience writing business requirements required
• 1+ year banking experienced preferred
• 1+ year writing test scripts preferred

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $60,000 to $81,000 annually.
