IT Business Analyst

The IT Business Analyst will support both IT and business technology initiatives. This position will work closely with our product and business owners and will be responsible for providing business analyst support to deliver new features and capabilities to drive our business forward. Leveraging agile principles and delivery models, the IT Business Analyst will document detailed user stories and create supporting artifacts to ensure engineering, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing teams have the required detail needed to deliver to defined requirements.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Partner with product owner to execute on the product roadmap by working with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and create supporting artifacts.
• Build strong business process understanding and functional knowledge of the products supported.
• Provide business analyst support for large transformational projects through activities such as requirements workshops, process mapping exercises, and gap analysis.
• Lead grooming and clarification sessions to provide engineering, QA, and UAT teams detailed requirements to develop and test against.
• Trace requirements through the delivery lifecycle from definition to release.
• Partner with User Acceptance Testers to ensure the delivered product meets the business objectives and launch criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or information systems required.
• Requires at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong business analysis skills with experience eliciting, visualizing, and documenting business requirements in the form of user stories.
• Deep technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business needs and represent the voice of the business and the customer.
• Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories.
• Experience refining and clarifying requirements with both business and IT stakeholders by creating various artifacts such as process maps, wire frames, mockups, etc.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading sessions and presenting findings to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at a given time while remaining organized, paying strict attention to detail, and meeting critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an agile delivery framework.
• Agile/SCRUM certification preferred.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar tools preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 and experience supporting internal D365 end users.
• Preferred business analyst experience supporting finance, accounting, and/or supply chain teams.
• 3+ years experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
