IT Business Analyst III (REMOTE)

Proagrica, a LexisNexis Risk Solutions company, is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in data products, as well as experience interfacing directly with clients to join its Custom Solutions Team.

This is an opportunity for remote (in the US) work, with the team located across the US.

Requirements
Essential

• Strong requirements elicitation skills - including the facilitation of client workshops.
• Experience with working with data products, accompanied by a high degree of data literacy.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and related programming languages such as SQL, Python, etc.
• Strong understanding of Web APIs and Services
• Experienced in authoring and maintaining Agile Backlogs - from Epics/Themes to individual User Stories and their acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with any Agile methodology, ideally Scrum.
• Experience of interacting directly with high-value clients.
• Strong result orientation, personal drive, and pro-activeness.
• Ability to influence and lead without formal authority.
• A diligent attention to detail and technical intuition

Desirable

• Any background in Agriculture or Ag Tech is highly desirable.
• Understanding of the Geospatial Technologies
• Skilled in Unified Modelling Language

What the job entails

• Working within a newly formed squad dedicated to one of Proagrica's flagship clients, focusing on an already launched and established product.
• Participating (and in many cases, facilitating and leading) design and requirements workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Defining and maintaining Agile Product Backlogs.
• Authoring User Stories all the way to the "Analysis Complete" definition, with the help of Technical and QA functions.
• Managing the above for more than one features / backlogs / clients at a time (maximum of three)
• Occasionally travelling to client locations (within the US) for workshops and pre-sales engineering activities (possible)
