Description Northern Trust’s Global Brokerage is looking for a Password Management Business Analyst to join its team. MAJOR DUTIES β€’ Password Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop and maintain password policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. β€’ Critical Account Remediation: Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and remediate critical account password issues, including password reuse, weak credentials, and leaked credentials. β€’ Password Management Solution Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain password management solutions, including password vaulting, synchronization, and rotation. β€’ Password Sync Process Management: Develop and maintain password synchronization processes to ensure seamless integration with various systems and applications. β€’ Password Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor password-related security incidents and develop incident response plans to mitigate potential security risks. β€’ Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure password management solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards. β€’ Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance on password management best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies. β€’ Compliance: Monitor and assess compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to Password Management including but not limited to SOX, SOC1, SOC2, GDPR, NIST and industry-specific regulation β€’ Audit: Coordinate and participate in regular audits and assessment of Password Management controls. Generate report and documentation to demonstrate compliance status β€’ Metrics: Define and create key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Password Management and compliance QUALIFICATIONS β€’ Broad understanding of identity and access management, with expert knowledge in identity governance and administration β€’ Understanding of identity related regulatory requirements for all global regions β€’ Experience with IAM/password management tools: SailPoint, OKTA, Ping, Hitachi Bravura β€’ Strong aptitude to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships and to leverage those relationships in pursuit of day-to-day goals and responsibilities β€’ Excellent consultative skills β€’ Excellent oral and written communication skills are required β€’ In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required β€’ Knowledge of information security, network management, operating systems, software development, database systems and information technology concepts needed to effectively manage the group β€’ Analytical and problem solving skills are required β€’ Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set β€’ A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required β€’ Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS, etc. is desired Job Type: Contract Pay: $73.00 - $85.00 per hour Benefits: β€’ 401(k) β€’ Health insurance Experience: β€’ Business analysis: 8 years (Required) β€’ Information security: 7 years (Required) β€’ Identity & access management: 5 years (Required) β€’ SSO: 3 years (Preferred) β€’ account remediation: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
