What you will do

The IT Business Lead - CRM Systems is the entrepreneurial manager of the Global Product CRM and Solution Navigator platforms, with the goal of long-term customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, customer self-service, and increased productivity for our internal Product Business Units. The IT Business Lead is responsible for managing the software product life cycle, from ideation to end-of-life and is accountable for business requirements and will have to leverage indirect authority over the delivery resources required to "make it happen,".

How you will do it

Drive for Business Results

• Establish position and value proposition message for assigned products and communicate to the business
• Complete a detailed SWOT analysis for assigned products and communicate to the business
• Work with marketing and sales enablement to participate in customer meetings and provide support as needed
• Work with Product Owners and Delivery leads to transform features, user stories and solutions into clear requirements and business value.
• Drive Feature priorities through a well-balanced intake process.
• Creatively find solutions to business challenges

• Strong strategic communicator and can speak to and for the business and can represent the organization for companywide goals and initiatives

Guide Product Fit and Function

• Expert in product and operational issues and their applications
• Define product road maps and wins acceptance of roadmaps that define the evolution of a product line
• Authors compelling Vision, Scope, and Requirements documents for new development
• Develops key documents including business plans and competitive analysis
• Exercises knowledge of business requirements related to GP strategic plan
• Recommends product and system solutions and provides feedback to product management leadership

Manage Multiple Priorities

• Prioritize activities based on an awareness of the overall business goals
• Define new product development project
• Deliver, through our IT Delivery organization, a roadmap which supports our vision
• Be an advocate for change by looking for further advancement in technologies which reduce our total costs while adding differentiated features, across all product lines direct and indirect.

What we look for

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or Business, MS/MBA highly preferred
• 10 years BAS, HVAC, Fire, or Access Control related experience in product or program management, marketing, or sales is required.
