The Order to Cash (O2C) value stream includes processes from Customer master data, Item, billing management, Cash Application, Order Management, invoicing, reporting.
The IT Business lead for Order to Cash supports alignment of Business and IT objectives, identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technology, supports creation of business capability and technology projects, translate business capabilities into functional requirements, and work with business stakeholders and IT Delivery teams to develop, test, and deploy solutions.
You will provide thought leadership for ERP process design within the Order to Cash (O2C) value stream and understand integration points between O2C and other business process areas. You will gather and align business requirements from the Enterprise as well as BSNA (Building Solution North America) and lead the translation of those requirements to Oracle Fusion ERP by collaborating with business and IT counterparts to ensure that the solution addresses business needs today and into the future.
The candidate will play a leading role in developing business process flows and partner with the IT delivery team in building the BSNA ERP foundation. As part of the core ERP team for BSNA, this position will also play a leadership role in deployments by developing deployment plans, site readiness assessments, fit-gap assessments, testing, ensuring adoption and overseeing post go-live activities. The candidate may also be expected to define, manage and support IT strategies for their respective value stream beyond core ERP functions.

How you will do it
- Translate business capabilities and process designs into functional requirements and work with business stakeholders to review and secure sign-off on requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet business capability needs and ensure successful achievement of scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption, and value outcomes
- Provide expertise and input into solution testing scenarios and participate in User Acceptance Testing
- Participate in development of solution training material and execution of change management activities
- Business case realization - ensure business case value is realized by working with the business and IT teams to design and deliver ERP Program outcomes including Foundation and BSNA localization.
- Business process scope governance -
- Partner with BSNA and Global Process owners to define in scope and out of scope ERP processes and solutions through an approved O2C enterprise foundation.
- Manage and govern ERP process templates partnering with the business
- Foundation - provide support and partner with IT delivery teams (Core applications and Edge systems), Architects, Business leads and System integrator in building the BSNA O2C foundation.
- Deployments
- Support and Develop Deployment plans
- Site readiness - pre-assessment of the impacted areas for preparedness for the disruption caused by ERP implementation.
- Localization - maintain balance between BSNA specific requirements and global template modification.
- Adoption - partner with the business lead and local business to ensure adoption of the solution.
- Represent BSNA Order to Cash requirements in the ERP Transformation Program
- Partner with business leads and define end to end business process maps and create a common BSNA ERP business process template for O2C.
- Translate agreed upon common BSNA ERP processes for O2C into an Oracle O2C Value Stream view partnering with IT Delivery and SI Partners
- Map existing business processes into the new ERP capabilities and identify gaps
- Synchronize process improvement plans with specific business process owners within the value chain and other interfacing processes.
- Ensure consistent, high quality, and appropriately detailed process designs, including the correct business requirements.
- Makes sure the process is documented, and that the documentation is used and updated regularly.
- Collaborate with business lead on the following deliverables:
- Define and sponsor business process change and capability investments, which continuously increase the maturity of the process and sustain each level of maturity.
- Make sure that process operators have the training and resources to do their jobs well.
- Manage "business continuity" during the change by preparing the affected business areas for transition to the new way of working.
- Implement new business processes and ensure successful adoption by the end-users
- Optimize the timing of the release of new process steps into business operations
- Monitor and report process performance against KPIs and health versus plans.
What we look for
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS or related majors is required
- O2C and / or ERP subject matter expertise
- Well-versed with Order to Cash business processes
- A minimum of 10 years of practical work experience in IT is required
- 3 years or more business analysis experience is required
- Excellent written and oral English skills is required
- Good mix of technical/IT consulting and business background
- Experience in sizeable multinational corporations is preferred
- Knowledge in Oracle ERP and Web Technology is a plus
- Can work independently under stress and ability to lead a small team from cross functions in the organization
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience on leading business process re-engineering projects leveraging lean-six sigma or recognized process simplification methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge and experience partnering with both business stakeholders and IT professionals
- Positive, collaborative and solution oriented attitude
Preferred:
- Oracle Fusion ERP or Oracle e-Business Suite experience
- Global professional experience
