IT Business Office Manager

Overview

The IT Business Office Manager’s role is to oversee and manage critical aspects of vendor management, IT portfolio management, and IT project management, ensuring alignment with the Rain Bird's strategic goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of the IT portfolio, including the identification, prioritization, and alignment of IT projects and initiatives with business goals and objectives.
• Manage the execution of IT projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Collaborate with Director of Strategy, Planning & Governance, IT leaders and stakeholders to allocate resources effectively across projects and initiatives.
• Enforce IT governance processes, policies, and standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and executive leadership to understand business needs, align IT initiatives with strategic objectives, and communicate project status and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of proven experience in IT vendor management, IT portfolio management, and IT project management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or ITIL.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA
• Certifications such Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or ITIL certifications.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding, extrusion, and electronic manufacturing technologies.

Salary Transparency

• Salary range for candidates based in California: $140,394.62-$210,591.92
• Salary range for candidates based in Colorado or New York CIty and New York State: $131,209.92-$198,814.88
• Salary ranges include base salary and annual incentive bonus if applicable.
• Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
