IT Business Technology Development Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy undergraduate or masters-level student to join our Information Technology team as a Business Technology Development Intern. This internship opportunity is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of business technology development, including software applications, process automation, and innovative solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to contribute to the creation and enhancement of technology solutions that support our business objectives. The 10-week internship program runs from June 3 through August 9. This position will work in the Princeton, NJ office three days per week, with the other two days working from home. • Software Development
  • Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging business technology applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and enhancements.
• Database Management
  • Support database development activities, including data modeling, querying, and optimization.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating databases for business applications.
• Web Development
  • Contribute to the development of web-based applications, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and optimal performance.
  • Work on front-end and back-end development tasks as assigned.
• Process Improvement
  • Contribute to the development of web-based applications, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and optimal performance.
  • Work on front-end and back-end development tasks as assigned.
• Quality Assurance
  • Contribute to the development of web-based applications, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and optimal performance.
  • Work on front-end and back-end development tasks as assigned.
• Documentation
  • Maintain detailed and organized documentation related to software development and coding activities.
  • Create/Contribute to user manuals and technical documentation as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• If in an undergraduate program, must be entering junior or senior year of program.
• Familiar with C#
• Proficient with C# or Java
• Proficient with Visual Studio
• Proficient with SQL
• Familiar with Software Dev Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• All interns must go through a standard background check as a requirement before starting.

The hourly rates for the intern position includes:

• $24 for Junior year or later
• $25 for students in their first year of Masters or between first and second year
• $26 for students in their second year of Masters or later
