Job Description

We are looking for a Change Manager to play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and on budget while increasing employee adoption and usage with a focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology. This is a dual role where

  • The Change Manager will support Infrastructure Services projects to build a deep understanding of the technology needs of internal employees and then use that understanding to influence and guide technical project teams to minimize end-user disruption through a variety of methods, including appropriate stakeholder engagement, smoothing workflows to reduce user friction and developing user-friendly communications and guides.
  • The Change Manager will support the IT EMPO Change Leader building foundational Change Management competencies across Global IT including; Development and continuous improvement of portfolio change reporting and analysis tools, assessment of portfolio-level change impacts and dependencies, recommendation of sequencing and deployment timing based on magnitude of end-user impacts.

Job Highlights:

  • Operate as part of small team of Change and Communication specialists regarding communication matters that impact end users
  • Ensure that communication coming from the IS technology towers to the end users is fit for purpose, has the appropriate approvals and is readily legible by end users
  • Ensure that Self Help articles are current and appropriate and extensively used to ensure users use them and avoid calling the Global Service Desk
  • Establish campaigns that ensure user adoption of IS technology (Teams, Microsoft, cell phones, etc)
  • Act as the change and communication champion in IS supporting key communication events - internal Newsletters, leadership events
  • Ensure IS content on the intranet is up to date, relevant and appropriate by working with technology SME's as appropriate
  • Drive multiple forms of end user communication such that email is not the default

Technical Skills and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience in IT Project/Change/Comms Management.
  • Project Management certification preferred but not required.
  • Deep program/project/change management experience, preferably with large, complex enterprise-level programs.
  • Strong change management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure services and relevant customer technologies.
  • Infrastructure and/or Application migration skills.
  • Large Scale IT infrastructure rollouts of systems of technologies across multiple sites/locations/countries.
  • Significant experience of delivering and managing major change and IT projects.
  • Ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.

Candidates will be required to work several days/week in the AIG Charlotte office.
