Job Purpose:
The Compliance Specialist is part of a diverse team of 3-5 indirect Cornerstone team members in overall Risk & Compliance work in the IT Space. This role is a member of the Information Technology organization working at the Cornerstone Building Brands level and works interactively with each BU. This position includes managing the provisioning and deprovisioning of access to 12 CBB applications and requires troubleshooting of access issues and remediation of conflicts that may be created. This person will contribute to the compliance with SOX and internal IT policies (running reports or screenshots, organizing evidence, and providing quality control. Compliance reviews could consist of IT General Controls as well as selected application or special project reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Provisioning of accounts in Oracle, JDE and other ERPs.
- Adheres to Cornerstone internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Works with managers to ensure that deliverable schedules are met.
- Actioning change management tasks
- Monitors activities of assigned IT controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures including monthly, quarterly, and annual account and activity reviews.
- Facilitates compliance with the internal control standards via regular monitoring of related activities.
- Works closely with the security and operational teams to address issues/concerns identified.
- Prepares summaries of review results and communicates appropriately.
- Manages the progress of remediation steps on identified control deficiencies.
- Contribute to the Cornerstone overall compliance strategy.
- The ideal candidate will have IT Audit experience and working knowledge of information technology general. controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance framework.

Must have:
- 2 years of Oracle or JDE functional knowledge required- This knowledge may be occupational or scholastic.
- Experience with creating SQL queries- This knowledge may be occupational or scholastic.
- Advanced English level.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Professional working English
- Excel Proficiency
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration
- Self-starter who is flexible and organized, able to handle competing priorities
- Must model the Company’s core values and leadership behaviors.
Good to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (IT)
- Relevant Risk & Compliance experience (1 - 2 years experience).
