This is a hybrid role that will require 2-3 days per week in the Boston, MA office.

Corvus is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide IT support to employees across all departments, including Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Underwriters and Executives. Our ideal candidate is agile, flexible, and able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks at once to ensure the best outcome possible. They can communicate what they don’t know as easily as what they do, and are committed to solving problems. Responsibilities :

  • Respond to employee requests on the phone, via email, chat, in-person, or through remote access

  • Offer technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software

  • Install and maintain approved software on employee computers

  • Assist with onboarding tasks including account set up and day one orientation

  • Enter and update written IT Service Management Issue Tracking Tickets

  • Help build our internal IT knowledge base and document systems and procedures as our team grows

What you'll bring to the flock:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1-2 years of corporate IT experience

  • Experience in a customer facing technical support role

  • A strong working knowledge of computer system fundamentals, hardware, and software, especially Apple MacOS, and Google Workspace

  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides.

  • Knowledge of Computer Networking Fundamentals, especially as they’re related to AV troubleshooting

  • Passionate about technology with the desire to learn and grow with a quickly growing company

  • ACMT certification preferred

  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language

  • Familiarity with administering cloud based platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, AWS, MS Office 365, and more as we continue to grow.

  • Experience or familiarity with Identity Management and User Lifecycle systems such as Okta or OneLogin

  • A strong understanding of MDM systems (JAMF, Kandji)

Compensation Range: $58K - $72.5K
