Avanade's Information Technology Services, Intelligent Enterprise team is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to help deliver projects that bring together information from variety of sources and build data models to enable analysis and decision making.

You wish to work with and contribute to the latest cloud technology from Microsoft . You are able to rapidly learn new technologies to create high quality data products . You know how to find, store , and present a range of information from different stores so everyone can access what they need quickly, simply and use it effectively. Day-to-day:

• Take part in crafting and running data services for individual projects that support decision making
• Help build and improve data models that are consumed by visualization designers , leaders, and decision makers
• Design and develop Power BI reports for insights and help drive data informed decision making
• Develop data visualizations, maintain reports and dashboards as well as other information portals and resources
• Meaningfully contribute to our ever-evolving data platform , helping to make it the best in class on the Microsoft stack , augmented with open source libraries where applicable

Skills :

• You will have 1 to 2 years working with computer technologies including data analytics and programming. You are currently working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science or another relevant field .
• An analytical thinker looking for an opportunity to build data projects from beginning to end, with a focus on driving better results for the business
• Strong communication skills and a natural team player; curious and inquisitive and excited to gain deep knowledge of every functional area
• Ability to partner with functional stakeholders on our Marketing, Sales, People Strategy and Operations teams to understand tactical goals translating them into analytics requirements
• Knowledge of data mining, analysis, modeling, of large, complex data sets
• Knowledge of SQL and Python
• Power BI , DAX, MDX, Power Query
• Data visualization techniques
• Knowledgeable about data science and machine learning

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, and Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here .

Role Location: Range of Pay for role

Washington: $25/hour

Colorado: $25/hour
