Opportunity Statement

As part of the steady growth of the IT organization, we are looking for a new IT Desktop administrator based in our New York city office who will contribute both to the day to day IT support activity and to the constant modern workplace management evolution. The candidate will provide the best IT service quality to the various population of users and collaborate daily with the global Ivalua Infrastructure & IT Support & Cybersecurity community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain all the equipment provided to our users (laptops, workstations, IT accessories, etc.)
  • Install & keep updated all software, drivers and OS.
  • Deploy and maintain the collaboration solutions (meeting rooms, video conferencing & VOIP solutions, messaging/document sharing and IM tools, etc.)
  • Resolving IT support requests from employees, logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware, and be the local IT support contact for the infrastructure(Active directory, Local Network, WAN, local servers & data centers, )
  • Be the local IT Security contact: check and apply security policies, collaborate with InfoSec team and work with Ivalua global SOC team on cyberthreats analysis & remediation
  • Perform onboarding of new employees, follow up with their constant training to the IT solutions and eventually perform offboarding checklist of departing employees
  • Be the first level of Support for Ivalua employee’s, where ever they are located (office, home office or traveling abroad)
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise in the local office for Global IT, contribute to the workplace management technologies evolution & maintenance
  • Manage IT stock and supplies, update the IT inventory and help with IT procurement & delivery tasks


Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of experience in IT support activity, preferably in an international environment
  • Good overall knowledge of IT: Networking, Windows 10/11, computer master/MDT, Active Directory & DNS/DHCP, printing, Antivirus, Windows Update, etc.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity & Endpoint protection is a appreciated
  • Experience in managing Dell computers, iPad & tools like Intune/SSCM is a real bonus
  • Basic ITIL process understanding, some experience in using ticketing, asset management and monitoring solutions
  • Service oriented, detail-oriented and organized, able to pay attention to procedures,
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, open-minded, creative
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with others, orally and in writin

Preferred Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
    â—Ź 2+ years of Desktop Support experience, ideally with hyper growth technology companies.

The compensation range for this position reflects the cost of labor across our US locations and is based upon careful and continual market research. In addition to location, compensation may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Title: IT Desktop Support

Range minimum: USD 65000

Range maximum: USD 81250
