IT Developer - Mobile Apps Developer

Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) is seeking a IT Developer - Mobile Applications Developer to join our Apps team. This position will be directly involved in specifying and developing iOS and/or Android mobile applications that support ETC products, customers and sales partners.

The ideal candidate is both knowledgeable and passionate about software development, mobile apps, and the end-user experience. Responsibilities of the position include:• Develop new mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms• Contribute to existing apps written in Swift, Kotlin, Qt, or Java• Integrate with back-end data sources and web services• Delivering a great mobile user experience that exceeds our customer expectations• Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to our technology, algorithms and products• Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, and translate those into an effective technical solution• Knowledge and understanding of mobile app store ecosystems and requirements• Ability to dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results within a set schedule

Desired Technology Skills:• Strong Object Oriented Programming and software design knowledge• Apple iOS - Swift, Objective-C, X-code• Android - Kotlin, Java, Android Studio• Web/REST APIs• JSON/XML/HTML/CSS/Javascript• Jira, Confluence, Gitlab• Scripting languages such as Python• Cloud and IoT related technologies a plus

Desired Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in a related discipline
