Job Overview

Pretium Enterprise Services (PES) is seeking an IT Director to join our team in the private equity sector. The IT Director will play a critical role working as the primary technology partner for our Investment Management company ensuring the delivery of effective technology solutions while improving quality of service. The preferred location for this opportunity is New York, NY.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the relationship between IT and our Investment Management company delivering technology solutions to support business processes and acting as a trusted advisor to our business leaders
• Build partnerships with IT leaders across our Enterprise to drive consistency and execute of the strategy set by our Enterprise Technology Delivery leader
• Provide technical expertise to our funds and investors
• Lead IT projects specific to the Investment Management company including developing project plans, outlining ROI, and managing execution of projects
• Track, mitigate and proactively manage risk and compliance
• Provide analysis, and assessment of our current cyber structure and future needs to ensure we are in a position of strength
• Support our business in identifying how IT can continue to improve the support for their business processes and challenges
• Develop and deliver relevant technology metrics for the Investment Management company
• Provide onsite support at our New York offices (in partnership with local help desk team members)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in a business relationship management role, preferably withing the private equity, investment management, real estate, or financial services space
• Knowledge of technology infrastructure, systems integration, and software development methodologies
• In-depth understanding of information security best practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Expertise in project management and consulting best practices
• Strong focus on continuous improvement and value creation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Some travel may be required for this role to support other office locations

• Annual base salary range for this role is expected to be approximately $150,000
• Annual year-end bonus eligible
