IT Director

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Director of Information Technology who will oversee the successful execution of our IT strategy and daily operations of our enterprise tools and infrastructure. For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and choices that focus on your fellow Monsters, who are the customers of your work.

• You will inspire and lead a team of experienced IT professionals to accomplish important PM business goals and priorities.
• You have a deep background in IT frameworks such as ITIL and the experience of implementing them.
• You are passionate about OKR and improvement motivated by measurement and metrics.
• You see IT as an engineering function that can unlock an organization's potential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• You will help shape the IT organization's long-term strategy, goals, and financial plans.
• You will guide the implementation of our IT strategy and goals supporting product requirements.
• You will build and implement appropriate technical standards for IT operations and development.
• Establish and lead to operational and capital financial targets.
• You will develop and monitor metrics for all technical and operational performance aspects.
• Evaluate and select IT products, tools, partnerships, vendors, and solutions to meet all company and product needs.
• Directly lead our IT operation's operational and functional aspects to improve value to the company, product teams, and players.
• You stay informed on the latest technology and IT trends and make informed decisions about changes in our IT strategies accordingly.
• You will mentor IT technologists and leaders.
• You will partner with game teams and other leaders to understand their IT needs.
• Create automation of processes that allow PM to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of leading IT operations or engineering teams at fast-growing companies.
• Experience setting technical strategy on a company/global scale.
• Skilled at team building, performance management, and mentorship.
• Experience at a senior IC level as an Infrastructure Engineer or Architect.
• Experience implementing ITIL and managing Help Desk operations.
• Experience supporting the game development cycle and shipping games.
• Business Management or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation:

• This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
• When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
• In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
