Description
We are looking for a talented IT Director- Marketing & Communications to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins facility in Atlanta, GA. This will be a Hybrid position; expectation is in the office 2 or 3 days a week.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manages a team of senior level IT Employees.
- Participate as a key member of a senior level IT Management Team.
- Responsible for a significant area within IT from a scope perspective.
- Provide input to development of IT Strategies.
- Responsible for team financial management including AOP, budget management, and forecasting.
- Responsible for People Management including work plan development, performance management, and people development.
- Responsible for team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, global team management.
- Compile and present Management Reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status, etc.
- Communicate status to senior management - IT and business.
- Accountable for Six Sigma training, usage and goal attainment for the team.
- Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures including IT Security.
- Responsible of IT Controls compliance for the team
- Engagement with customers in their respective function or business area.
- Governance/Leadership for all program/projects executed or supported by their teams.

Project Portfolio Management - Plans, prioritizes, sequences and manages one or more project portfolios utilizing analysis of portfolio risk and performance (diversification, value assurance assessment, company synergy, alignment, and long term maintenance) to optimize and prioritize projects and maximize business value.
Strategic Roadmap Planning - Produces a high-level, multi-year product and capability roadmap utilizing internal and external business resource, asset and market knowledge and experience to communicate the organization's focus and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
Tech savvy - Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.
IT Supplier Relationships - Leverages a vendor management framework to manage strategic supplier relationships and supplier performance based on business need throughout the contract life using the required processes and tools to control costs, drive service excellence, mitigate risks, and gain increased value from the suppliers.
Cultivates innovation - Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful.
Global perspective - Taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial and budgetary experience, required. Broad business knowledge required.
- 8 years of IT leadership experience
- Excellent understanding of digital practices such as Demand Management, Salesforce, SEO, SEM, CMS, PIM and DAM
- Adaptable, versatile, and the ability to keep up to date with consumer and marketing trends and advancements in
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen
Additional Information:
- Manage the activities and processes of a company's digital ecosystem including websites, social media, demand management and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure the consistency of a brand's digital tone and presence.
- Leveraging complex data models to tell a story, effectively present and influence senior leaders on innovative digital solution recommendations.
- Partner with stakeholder to understand their data insight needs and help guide, interpret, and offer analytical solutions.
- Provide direct input into long term technology and digital roadmap strategy for the assigned functional area to ensure that solutions align with company strategy and will have a significant impact on operational readiness, customer experience and financial ROI.
- Independently conduct complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of both the external marketplace trends as well as existing internal processes to recommend and influence actional recommendations.
- Establishes strong, effective, and collaborative partnerships with key business area leaders, project managers and subject matter experts to identify specific business opportunities or to address business needs or problems and help build effective solutions.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
