Job Description

ADP is hiring a Disaster Recovery Coordinator
  • Do you like a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to multiple technologies & applications?
  • Are you a detailed oriented planner that likes to see those plans come to life?
  • Are you looking to join a global company with a culture of inclusion, collaboration and belonging?

Well, this may be the role for you. Ready to make your mark?
IT resiliency is becoming a top priority for organizations as we become more dynamic. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure our organization's IT applications and infrastructure recovers quickly and supports critical business continuity efficiently in the event of a disaster. Working within a global organization, you will assess risks, design recovery strategies, and collaborate with various teams to ensure the organization is prepared to handle any unforeseen disruptions.
As part of your day-to-day activities, you will be working with multiple teams across the organization in support of planning and testing of Disaster Recovery plans to ensure IT resiliency. The portfolio you will manage contains a broad range of ADP's cloud-based and On-Premise payroll, tax, HR, and benefits applications and services to help our clients save time, stay compliant, and control costs.
You will work alongside a team of passionate and dedicated Disaster Recovery Coordinators as well as product and technical support teams whose primary goal is to deliver applications and services that are resilient and can perform as expected even during a crisis.
To thrive in this role, you'll use your expertise guiding a broad scope of team's efforts with a laser focus on disaster recovery testing and restoring applications services while confidently coordinating across a broad audience of technologists and business representatives with varying degrees of technical aptitude.
If you are looking for a role that is strictly 9-5, this may not be the job for you. Pace should not scare you; flexibility is a must since the majority of disaster recovery testing occurs on the weekends and you'll be part of the team on-call rotation. But as part of our team, you'll be rewarded with exciting challenges, get opportunities to grow your career, and develop solid working relationships as we design what's next for ADP and the industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Disaster recovery Coordinator at ADP.
  • Variety of work. You will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and developing our portfolio of applications/services disaster recovery and business continuity plans. This includes the implementation and testing of solutions as well as preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management detailing the organization's preparedness status.
  • You'll always be presented with obstacles during a DR test or live event, so having a "figure it out" mentality will work in your favor. When faced with challenges, we'll rely on your expertise and knowledge to decide on next steps.
  • You have a confident and persistent communication style that allows you to flex between technical and non-technical audiences when managing stakeholder conversations and in presentations.
  • Grace Under Pressure. You thrive in a fast-moving, agile environment where your ambitious spirit motivates you to surpass your goals. You manage your time well and can multi-task with the best of them.

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job.
YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:

  • Be surrounded by curious learners. We align ourselves with other smart people in an environment where we grow and elevate one another to the next level. We encourage our associates to listen, stay agile, and learn from mistakes.
  • Act like an owner & doer. Mission-driven and committed to navigating change, you will be encouraged to take on any challenge and solve complex problems. No tasks are beneath or too great for us. We are hands-on and willing to master our craft.
